ARTS 360 - Intermediate Photography


Credits: 4

This is an intermediate level course that facilitates discussion of photographic processes within the larger context of contemporary art, photography, and digital media. Working through a series of modules, students will expand their knowledge of the various facets of photography as they exist today in the fine art, social, and commercial worlds. Module topics such as studio lighting, alternative processes, and composite imaging provide a framework for lectures, demonstrations, guest lecturers and weekly shooting assignments and critiques. Pre-requisite: ARTS 260 or 265 (previously ARTS 161 or ARTS 165). Offered Regularly.
