ARTS 460 - Advanced Photography


Credits: 4

This is an advanced level course that facilitates discussion of photographic processes within the larger context of contemporary art, photography, and digital media. Working through a series of modules, students will expand their knowledge of the various facets of photography as they exist today in the commercial, news and art worlds. Module topics such as fashion, photo-journalism and street photography will provide a framework for lectures, demonstrations, guest lecturers and weekly shooting assignments and critiques. Prerequisite: ARTS 260 or 265 and ARTS 360. Offered Regularly.
