THEA 586F - Rendering


Credits: Variable

This course will cover a variety of hand drawing, rendering, and painting techniques that are applied in professional theatrical design. This may include graphite, color pencil, pastel, charcoal, water color, and gouache applications. Also this will cover finer hand drafting techniques that are used by designers in varying ways. There will be a section of the course that covers computer rendering as combined with hand rendering as utilized in theatrical design. Ultimately the goal of this course is to help further develop artistic skills and techniques utilized in theatrical design. By permission of instructor. Offerings vary by semester.
