Introduction to the craft of costume design for the Theatre, including script analysis, paperwork and research of modern and period costume, using artists’ materials: drawing and painting costume sketches, roughs and renderings. Developing presentation techniques, graphic communication skills and the art of collaboration. Art training not necessary, but an interest in the Theatre is. Prerequisites: THEA 203 or THEP 273 or 373, or consent of instructor. Repeatable. Offered once per year.
