ANTH 549 - Foundations of Biomedical ANTH

Credits: 4

This course provides students a grounding in biomedical anthropology, an area of anthropological inquiry grounded in biological anthropology and medical anthropology. The course covers the theoretical contributions from both of these broader fields, as well as the study designs and methodological approaches that are most frequently used in research in biomedical anthropology. Students in the Biomedical Anthropology MS program should enroll for their first fall semester in the program. Offered regularly in the fall.
