CINE 550 - Experimental Animation Project


Credits: 4

Students will work on concept development and create short animations for individual and collaborative projects that deal with alternative exhibition possibilities and ideas of interactivity. One project will involve outdoor projection on a campus building such as the Bartle Library Tower. This class will strive to create a positive environment for confronting the challenges of collaborative work and will also provide time for individual growth in the area of animated approaches to Cinema. Students in this class will have access to both digital and traditional tools including Adobe CC software, cameras with animations stands, light boxes and peg boards. Prerequisite: CINE 121, 122, CINE 252 . only. Course fee applies. Refer to the Schedule of Classes. Students that have taken CINE 356 will not receive credit for this course.
