EML 115 - Academic Achievement Skills Credits: 0
ELI 115 is designed to support students in their first year of academic life at Binghamton University by providing trained peer mentors who are ready to facilitate both guided and open-ended mentoring sessions. Students meet once a week for 1 hours to discuss topics such as goal setting, social skills, living with others, time management, self-care, academic struggles and more. The course is a non-credit bearing course yet is also pass/fail. During the Fall semester students must attend training workshops prior to the start of the semester that are included as part of the course work for the Fall semester. This course is by invitation only by the English Language Institute.
