Advanced Writing for English Language Learners will support multilingual students as they continue to develop their writing skills in English. Students will also analyze diverse issues shaping American life through readings and discussions. The course treats writing as a process, emphasizes revision, and gives students frequent opportunities for both written and oral feedback from peers, English Speaking Assistants, and the instructor. Major assignments include a personal paper; a researched analytical paper; and a capstone presentation.
