This graduate-level course examines the variety of functional areas/work settings within higher education and student affairs. This course combines course readings and class discussions with hands-on experience in a changing group of functional areas. The emphasis will be on learning how each functional area fits within the larger university, the types of work in each functional area, and the skills required.
