Separation, purification, and analysis methods in organic chemistry; organic synthesis; spectroscopic methods. Prerequisites: CHEM 231 and CHEM 106 or CHEM 108 or 111 or AP score = 5. Credits: 2. Format: 1 hour of lecture, 4 hours of laboratory per week. Offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer II.
