Advanced treatment of selected areas of organic chemistry. May be repeated for credit. Recent topics include polymer chemistry, stereochemistry, conformation, analysis, organometallic chemistry, theoretical organic chemistry, natural products, spectroscopy, synthetic organic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry and synthesis by organometallics. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Credits: 4. Format: 3 hours lecture per week. Offered: alternates with other 483 courses.
