ECON 343 - Intro Labor Econ & Indust Rlts

Introduction to labor markets, theoretical and institutional analysis. Labor force trends, unions and collective bargaining, the relation between education and earnings, alternative theories of the labor market. Analysis of current policy issues such as unemployment, inflation, productivity growth, and discrimination. Prerequisite: ECON 160 and 162. 4 Cr.
