ECON 413 - Microeconomics of Development Credits: 4
This is an advanced undergraduate course in applied economics. The course examines issues in developing countries from the standpoint of applied microeconomic research & introduces frontier research with a focus on human capital, labor markets, credit markets, behavioral economics, and political economy. State-of-the-art experimental and quasi-experimental methods for applied microeconomic analysis. Prerequisites: ECON 360, College-level Statistics, and College-level Calculus (MATH 220 or 224/225). 4 Cr.
