ECON 416 - Economic Analysis with Python Credits: 4
This course teaches the fundamentals of Python and apply them to problems in economics and finance. The following topics in Python will be covered: collections, control flow, function, classes, Numpy, Pandas, data visualization, and time series techniques. These skills will be used to analyze several problems selected from macroeconomics, behavioral economics, finance, and experimental economics. Format: lectures, assignments, and a final research project. Prerequisite: College level calculus and statistics, Econ 362 or Econ 360. Offered regularly.
