ECON 444 - The Economics of Households


Credits: 4

Microeconomic theories applied to study empirical issues including, but not limited to, labor force participation, labor supply decision, marriage formation, assortative matching, home production, discrimination, consequences of inequality, migration, policies such as minimum wage and negative income tax, and the economics of gender. Prerequisites: ECON 360, College-level Statistics, and College-level Calculus (MATH 220 or 224/225).
