An independent study is a learning experience that allows a student an opportunity for self-directed learning related to an area in the field of academic and/or professional interest under the supervision of a faculty sponsor. The independent study and supplementary meetings/seminars will allow students to explore various aspects of education. Students are responsible for designing their independent study with the guidance of faculty and staff. The end of study ?product? can be in a variety of formats agreed to by the student and faculty member. Offered: fall, spring, summer.
