(1877-Present) This graduate seminar will introduce students to different methodological approaches through critical analysis of a wide range of topics in U.S. history from the Gilded Age to the present. We will read both ?classic? texts and more recent scholarship to explore historiographical issues and a variety of themes that characterize the field today. This is a reading-intensive seminar.
