SPAN Z161 - Intro to Spanish Healthcare

Spanish Z161 is a foundations course designed to prepare practicing nursing professionals to communicate in a professional healthcare setting with the growing Spanish-speaking population. Course includes a Spanish grammar component, an introduction to cultural awareness in healthcare, and basic vocabulary needed for communication pertinent to medical issues, such as general expressions used to gather basic information from a patient, parts of the body, and description of symptoms. Restriction: Must be enrolled in the RN-BS Online Nursing Program. Offered as needed.
