SPAN 170 - Basic Spanish for Travelers I

In this course students will learn some of the basics of how to communicate in Spanish, with an emphasis on things like directions, making plans, ordering food, etc. Students will also be introduced to the various regions of Spain, and will have an opportunity to study some cities and regions in more depth. May not be used as a prerequisite for SPAN courses in the basic sequence. Offered regularly.
