SW 496 - Field Instr Integration Sem II

This course provides a platform for senior social work major students to review and analyze their field instruction experiences as they begin to establish themselves as social work professionals. Students will use critical reflection and discussion to explore and integrate a range of topics ? including practice skills, problem-solving skills, ethics, and theories ? with their peers under the supervision of a social work faculty member. Students will identify and address issues of social, economic, and environmental justice in their micro, mezzo, and macro field instruction experiences. Special attention will be paid to the evaluation of one?s social work practice. Prerequisites: SW 315, SW 411, SW 491, SW 495 Corequisites: SW 412, SW 492, Offered: spring.
