UNIV 130K - First-Year Experience

First-Year Experience is a 2-credit seminar course for first-semester new students to assist in their transition to the University. The course is team-taught, with one credit devoted to an academic topic identified by the faculty instructor and the other focused on student transition, taught by a Student Affairs professional. Students will learn about the academic topic, explore campus resources, identify academic planning tools, and develop skills in oral presentations, critical thinking and time management. NOTE: Students may not register for multiple sections of UNIV 101. Fall and Spring semesters.
