THEA 250 - Drafting for Lighting and Video

This course is aimed at providing students with a basic understanding of how to use CAD drafting software to present typical paperwork and drafting for Lighting and Video designs for the Live Event, Theatre, Dance, Operatic, and Themed entertainment industries. We will focus on Vectorworks, the software that dominates industry use, and learn both basic operations and navigations as well as industry specific techniques and conventions. Prerequisites: THEA 203 or Permission of Instructor.
