CHEM 445 - Inorganic Materials Lab
This course explores the design, synthesis, and characterization of inorganic compounds, spanning molecular complexes to extended solids. Students will investigate the structure-property relationships that drive innovations in energy storage, catalysis, magnetism, and luminescence. A strong emphasis is placed on professional laboratory practices, including the precise recording and communication of experimental results. Laboratory. Prerequisites: CHEM 221 and 341 and 335. Credit: 4. Format: meets twice weekly for 4 hours. Offered: Fall.
