CINE 122 - Expression and Innovation

This course explores works by filmmakers, video artists and animators, whose creative processes creatively re-examine and generate new forms of making time-based images. By fostering a deep understanding of how artists employ experimental methods and innovative techniques to expand conceptual discourse, students will expand their capacity to see, hear and experience cinema in new and transformative ways. This course develops on certain themes introduced in CINE 121 and is best taken in sequence. Prerequisite: CINE 121. Offered regularly. 4 credits.
