ECON 456 - Data Analysis in Economics
This course builds on students’ knowledge of basic probability and statistics to develop a deeper understanding of statistical tools for analyzing economic data. It emphasizes both the theoretical foundations of these methods and their practical applications in empirical economics. Students will also gain programming skills to implement statistical techniques effectively. Prerequisites: ECON 360, College-level Statistics, and College-level Calculus (MATH 220 or 224/225). 4 Cr.
