GEOG 235 - Intro. to Urban & Reg. Plan



Introduction to the basics of urban planning. Provides an overview of the history of cities and planning. Covers sustainable development, brownfield cleanup, land use, the comprehensive plan, transportation, urban design, economic development and social issues. Explores the connections between planning and politics, economic restructuring, and social change. 4 credits.
