MATH 402 - Modern Algebra II



A continuation of MATH 401 with a deeper study of algebraic structures. Topics include rings and their ideals, modules, lattices, field extensions, and Galois theory. Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 401, or consent of instructor. Spring only. 4 credits.
