MATH 404 - Advanced Linear Algebra



A deeper study of linear algebra beyond MATH 304. Topics include modules over principal ideal domains, canonical forms of linear transformations (including Jordan and rational canonical forms), bilinear and quadratic forms, and selected applications. Prerequisites: C or better in both MATH 304 and MATH 330, or consent of instructor. Spring only. 4 credits.
