Concepts and tools used in the craft of policy analysis including problem definition, development and analysis of policy alternatives and requirements of reporting the results of analyses. Introduction to economic and political criteria for evaluating policy alternatives. The roles of policy analysis in democratic governance and decision-making are emphasized.
