PSYC 357 - Lab In Learning




This is a laboratory class that fulfils the lab requirement for the Psychology major. Methodology and experiments to study animal learning principles. Attendance on the first day of class is mandatory as students work with live animals that require special training. No late additions are allowed for this class. Prerequisites: PSYC 111 and PSYC 243 with a grade of C or higher, and PSYC 344 with a grade of C- or higher. Corequisite: PSYC 356, OR PSYC 356 prerequisite with a grade of C- or higher. Students must earn a grade of C- or higher for this course to apply to the major. Restricted to psychology and integrative neuroscience majors only. Offered once a year, commonly spring semester, 4 credits. Students who have previously been convicted of a crime are advised that their prior criminal history may impede their ability to complete the requirements of certain academic programs and/or to meet licensure requirements for certain professions. Students who have concerns about such matters are advised to contact the dean’s office of their intended academic program. Course fee applies. Refer to Schedule of Classes.
