EML 211 - Adv ELL Writ Identity&Culture

Advanced Writing for English Language Learners will support international students as they continue to develop their writing skills in English. Students will be guided through longer 8+ page papers including a research paper. The course will provide students with the opportunity to also learn about American culture through critical reading that will provide the content for writing. Students will have multiple opportunities for revision through process writing, peer feedback, English Speaking Assistant feedback and instructor feedback both written and via conferences. This is a 4-credit course offered every Fall and Spring semester.
