EML 213 - Conquering Eng Academic Vocab

This course will help multilingual students put into practice strategies for increasing their English vocabulary and academic phrasing beyond the general “Academic Vocabulary List.” The course aims to train students for future self-learning and learning in context by helping them to recognize major-related lexicons, roots and affixes, etymological consistencies and more. Students will utilize all language skills to create a final project focused on a topic in their major. 2 credits.
