Computer Science Minor

The computer science minor consists of seven courses all taken at Binghamton University. Before students apply, they must have completed CS 120 and CS 210 at Binghamton University and must have taken (or received transfer credit for) Calculus I and II (MATH 224/225 and MATH 226/227) with at least a 3.0 GPA in those MATH and CS courses taken at Binghamton University. More information is available from the School of Computing.

Students should register interest in the CS Minor by contacting the Office of the Undergraduate Director in the School of Computing; that will enable registration in the CS courses.

Prerequisites: CS 110, which may be waived for students with sufficient computer programming background, is a prerequisite for CS 120 and CS 210. MATH 225 is a prerequisite for CS 110. MATH 226 is a prerequisite for CS 310.
