The Division of Speech Language Pathology offers an undergraduate minor in speech and hearing science, which provides students with the groundwork for developing foundational knowledge in normal and disordered processes of speech, language and swallowing. This minor will not allow students to practice or be licensed as a speech and language pathologist. This coursework can be taken by students in any major to supplement their program of study. Completion of this minor will prepare students to apply to a graduate program in speech and language pathology. The coursework is open to all students, whether or not they apply for the minor, and can complement many different majors at Binghamton University.
