Judaic Studies Minor

The Judaic Studies minor requires that a student take at least six courses. These courses should be selected in consultation with the Judaic Studies Director of Undergraduate Studies or the Chair and should consist of the following:
- JUST 101 Introduction to Judaic Studies
- Two survey courses in Judaic Studies
- Three area courses in Judaic Studies in topics such as:
- Jewish History
- Jewish Social Justice
- Communal Service
- Sephardi Studies
Notes:
- Relevant upper-level courses may be substituted for survey courses.
- Three courses (12 credits) for the minor must be at the 300- or 400-level.
- At least three courses for the minor must be taken at Binghamton University.
- No course with a grade lower than C and no Pass/Fail courses can be counted toward the Judaic studies minor.
