The MS in Data Analytics degree (MS DA) is designed to prepare students with diverse backgrounds with balanced business intelligence, leadership, quantitative, and technical skills and abilities. Given the highly quantitative nature of the program, it qualifies as a STEM degree. The MS DA is a 30-credit program that can be completed in three or four semesters.

Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) from a nationally or regionally accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Applicants with a bachelor’s or graduate degree in computer science, systems science, industrial engineering, economics, business, management science, mathematics, or statistics are preferred. Applicants should provide academic transcripts, two letters of recommendation, a current resume, and a personal statement. Program Requirements
All MS DA students must complete 30 credits of graduate courses. To complete the MS in Data Analytics, students must maintain at least a B average in all graduate coursework. Required Courses (24 credits)
Elective Courses (6 credits)
- Students must take two elective courses (total of 6 credits).
- Electives may be chosen from the Information Systems or Computer Science graduate-level courses and must be approved by the Data Analytics Program Director.
- Electives should be selected in consultation with the Data Analytics Program Director and the instructor of the course to ensure adequate preparation.
